The adapter I’ve been using for my iPod in the car for years developed a short a few weeks ago and I haven’t been able to find a similar model to replace it yet, so I’ve been using an old Griffin FM transmitter instead. It’s not great and I frequently hit dead zones where there’s interference - either from a real radio station, another car transmitter, or just normal interference that overpowers the tiny iPod accessory.

My First GitHub-Posted Library
I finally pushed my first open source code to GitHub earlier this afternoon. I’ve actually got several libraries that I’ve put together that would make sense being released, it’s just a pain to assemble them, clean them up, and put together documentation for them.
My MacPorts Install
Update 8/27/2010: MacPorts disables all the default extensions when it compiles PHP, so I need to add back in the default POSIX extension.
From WordPress to Habari
Back in February I started becoming interested in this new blogging project called Habari. I, like most people, had been using WordPress for years on what passed for my pathetic excuse for a blog.
Kernel Madness
I upgraded Zend Core for Oracle on our soon-to-be production webserver at work tonight so it was running the latest build of PHP 5.2, and while I was at it I decided to make sure all its other packages were current.
