Welp, an exciting way to end my very short day… I just got done watching the Discovery astronauts make their way back inside the shuttle after their space walk today.

According to NASA TV, there are going to be 2 more space walks this mission, so be sure to check them out if you get the chance.

After the walk (which was to the International Space Station BTW), they showed some incredible footage live looking back down at the Earth, showing an amazing show of lights from thunderstorms along the Atlantic ocean. I really love watching weather in general, so a space-view of a thunderstorm was a really nice touch.
